WELCOME TO THE 2024 PGE TRAIL RUNNING CHAMPIONSHIP

We have something new for you in 2024, the PGE 5k & 10k Trail Running Championship Series!

10 stages spread throughout the year, culminating in the final at Siblyback Lake in December 2024!

Round 1 - Haldon Forest Park - Forestry England Sun 4th Feb (Trail Run through Haldon Forest)

Round 2 - Tehidy Country Park Sat 10th Feb (Headtorch Trail run through Tehidy Woods)

Round 3 - Siblyback Lake Twilight run Sat 23rd Mar (Headtorch Trail Run around Siblyback Lake)

Round 4 - Cardinham Woods - Forestry England Sat 13th Apr (Trail run through Cardinham Woods)

Round 5 - Siblyback Lake Gecko Gathering 22nd Jun (Trail run around Siblyback Lake)

Round 6 - Scorrier Estate Gecko Gathering 18th Aug (Trail run through Scorrier House Estate)

Round 7 - Scorrier Halloween Run 20th Oct (Headtorch Trail Run through Scorrier Estate)

Round 8 - Haldon Halloween Run 25th Oct (Headtorch Trail Run through Haldon Forest)

Round 9 - Lobster Lollop 16th Nov (Trail Run along the Camel Trail)

Round 10 - Siblyback Santa Scamper 8th Dec (Festive Trail Run around Siblyback Lake).

No cut off times, medals for all, awards for top finishers, personalised bibs and free race photography. The top 10 male & female finishers in each distance on each round earn Championship Series points.

(Runners do not have to attend each round in order to be eligible for championship points) This is open to all runners regardless of ability

There will be a presentation at Siblyback Lake after the final round in December. The top Male & Female with the most points after round 10 will be crowned 2024 Champions and receive a special award, as will the 2nd & 3rd place Male & Female.

5k and 10k points are not interchangeable. Runners are allowed to run different distances in different rounds if they wish but championship points earned will count in that distance only and may not be transferred across.
