Join us for a Festive coastal Ultramarathon & 'Long Half Marathon' along the North Coast of Cornwall finishing at Porth Beach, Newquay to end the racing year in style!
Take part in this timed, self-navigation coast path run & get into the spirit of Christmas by dressing up (optional but absolutely encouraged) and running through our festive themed checkpoints! (weather dependant!🤪)
Canicross entries welcome!
Long Half (15 miles) Runners will register at the Mermaid Inn in Newquay before being bussed over to Harlyn Bay for a 1000hrs start. You have a 6 hour cut-off
Buses leave at 0915hrs sharp
Ultramarathon (30miles) runners will register at the Mermaid Inn in Newquay & start from Porth Beach right outside at 0800hrs. You have a 10 hour cut-off
Runners will be issued a GPS tracker with a live link to the route.
A kit check will also take place here too.
This is for your own safety whilst out on the cliff path, not your inconvenience. Any questions, please drop us an email.
There will be 1/3 checkpoints along the way for the long half & Ultra respectively. These will be stocked with fluid & salt / sugar snacks etc
All runners must carry the following essential items:

WE HAVE TO TAKE EVERY EVENTUALITY INTO ACCOUNT ON YOUR BEHALF.
KIT IS PER PERSON AND IS NOT TO BE SHARED.
IT IS NOT UP FOR NEGOTIOATION ON RACE DAY.
WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY ABUSE OR RUDENESS TO OUR STAFF.

A fully charged mobile phone with charger (Battery pack), issued GPS tracker
Head torch
Spare warm clothing in a waterproof bag (hat/leggings/gloves/top)
A hi-vis top or reflective strips-clothing / small first aid kit / nutrition / compass (phone app acceptable)
Survival bag (Foil blanket NOT acceptable)
Whistle
Nutririon
NOK details on piece of paper in waterproof bag
Collapsible/reusable cup to use at CP's (We will not have cups for you to use here)
Minimum 800ml fluid.
£20 cash (emergencies)
All runners will receive a Fairy tale of Newquay medal & there will be awards for the top finishers!
Please leave enough time to collect you bib, tracker & have your kit checked

The Cardinham Winter 10k returns on Saturday 11th & Thursday 16th September 2021!
Socially distant trail running, 3 waves to choose from, no cut off time, everyone receives a Cardinham Winter Series 2021 medal with the 10k ribbon plus we have awards for top 3 male & Female in each category!

Runners that were already signed up for postponed event due to to Covid in 2020 will be automatically transferred over to this event. We will email all entrants with confirmation including allocated starting wave:)
