WELCOME TO THE 2023/24 CANICROSS CHAMPIONSHIP!

This season we thought we would make things more exciting by introducing a Canicross championship!

So for the 8 races we have involving the 5k & 10 distances, there will be points up for grab for the first 10 male & female finishers.

The dates are as follows:

Haldon Forest 27th October 2023 (Headtorch)

Scorrier House 29th October 2023 (Headtorch)

Lobster lollop 18th November 2023

Siblyback Santa Scamper 16th December 2023

Haldon Forest 5k / 10k 4th Feb 2024

Tehidy Twilight Run 10th Feb 2024 (Headtorch)

Siblyback Twilight Run 23rd March 2024 (Headtorch)

Cardinham Woods 5k / 10k 13th April 2024

-The top 10 Male & Female finishers on each stage in both the 5k & 10k distances will earn Championship Series points.

-Runners do not need to enter all 8 stages.

-The duo with the most Championship points at the end of the final stage at Cardinham Woods will be crowned series champion, plus we will have awards for the 2nd & 3rd place series finishers.

Standard PGE Canicross rules apply, in addition:

Runners will be permitted to run with one dog only, this does not need to be the same dog at each stage. (If anyone requires further information please email us at info@purplegeckoevents.co.uk)

Please note the 2024 dates are subject to final permissions, 2024 stages will go on Sale once confirmed.

As always, Canicross participants will set off individually in a Time Trial Fashion with 10 second intervals.

We will have awards for all finishers on each stage plus awards for the top Male & Female finishers as always too!
