A 20k coast path trail run supporting Man Down Cornwall.

Man Down Cornwall offer a safe space to meet the current emotional and mental health needs of men who are struggling to cope with the everyday pressures facing them in our modern society.

‘Man Up & Down’ is a timed 20k trail along the North Cornish Coast starting at 9am on Saturday 9th May 2026.

Runners will set off from Portreath beach, navigating the iconic & rugged North Cornwall coastline & finish in Perranporth.

There will be ONE checkpoint at St. Agnes Head fully stocked with fluids, salt & sugar snacks for you.

There are no cut off times for this event. Please make sure you have a mobile phone & fluid for safety.

Every runner will receive a Man Up & Down medal & we will have awards for the top 3 male & female finishers!

Race Registration in Portreath Surf Lifesaving Club opens at 0730hrs

Race registration closes 0855hrs

Race briefing 0855hrs

Race Start on Portreath Beach 0900hrs

There is an option for a voluntary donation upon booking towards Man Down Cornwall & you can also request a sponsorship form from us if you wish to do your own fundraising

Optional extra cost of a return minibus back to Portreath, please select this option when booking. These buses. run when full or nearly full so there may be a bit of a wait

BUT ON THE PLUS SIDE - NO BEACH RUN TO FINISH!

LOOK ACROSS FOR THE PURPLE TENT AS YOU COME DOWN THE HILL INTO PERRANPORTH!

All participants must be 18 years of age or above
